Okay, so what can I tell you about me that you can't see in the things I love, the words I'm inspired by and the images that speak to me? I feel a little list coming on... I like lists, you should know that about me.
~ I'm complex but simplicity make me very happy.
~ I love words. And pictures. Photography is a very new-found thing and I thank blogging for helping me explore it more. I thank blogging for lots of things really. Can't imagine my life without it now.
~ I've loved, been loved, am loved, love. I have a good head but I'm heart driven.
~ My heart's been badly broken, but it's healing. Instead of a whole vessel, the pieces now make it a mosaic. I think mosaics, although more fragile in places, can be beautiful too. And it still works, well, so that's the important thing.
~ What I do for a living is not who I am but I couldn't do it if I weren't who I am.
~ One of the best things about my current job is that, when I'm not travelling, I get to walk to work.
~ I've lived in five countries, on three continents, and visited many, many more. The list of places I'd like to go is still much longer than the one of places I've been. I currently live in the UK and am at home wherever I am. But this is where I think of as Home.
~ The same is true for what I've done. My list of things to do is always longer than the one of the things I've checked off it. I hope I'll have the time to do it all eventually but I doubt it.
~ I'm a renaissance soul, with many passions. And an INFP. Through and through.
~ I hope I've only lived about half my life but maybe I'm nearly at the end. I don't know, so I try not to waste it. I'm evolving. Always. The core stays true though.
~ I wrote a series on my alter-egos and what they like and do, and if you're keen to know more about me, you might like to have a browse here. They are all me, and I am all of them.
~ I also write here. There's a lot of navel-gazing. Even more. Be warned.
~ Otherwise, all you need to know is that I'm happy to be here and I'm happy that you're here too. Some people I now consider family of my heart have been found in this blogging space. It's a wonderful thing. And we share it - you and I. That's a great place to start to get to know each other...
